- The fact that this country is 250 years old and we get to be small business owners in it. Not lost on me.
- Fireworks that actually make you tear up a little. Every. Single. Year.

- This Garden Dress from Mille — the sailing stripe is doing something to me. Very "I summer on a boat" energy even though I do not summer on a boat 😂
- These Boden pointelle shorts in blue and white — cute, comfy, could wear them approximately every day
- This Maeve shift dress from Anthro — square neck, easy, classic. A summer dress that means business 🙌
- This raffia drawstring pouch from Loeffler Randall — on sale and goes with literally everything
- These champagne jelly slingbacks also from LR — fun, festive, a little fancy for a cookout and I'm here for it ✨
Eating 🍓
- These cakes — I mean. LOOK AT THEM. Making these for the Fourth and that's final 🎆
- This rosé sangria from The Defined Dish — holiday weekend in a glass, yes please 🥂

A Little Bonus Obsession
Okay this isn't food but a tool to make things better — I picked up this milk frother and have been pairing it with this simple syrup and honestly... game changer. It has elevated cocktail making & works like a dream for coffee too!
Doing ✨
- Needlepoint. My first canvas from Saville and I’m loving it. It’s like color by number with thread! 🪡 There is something so grounding about sitting with a needle and thread — highly recommend if you need to slow your brain down this summer.
- Redesigning our website 👀 Big things coming for JCS and I could not be more excited. Sneak peeks soon! Our team is crushing it!
- Slowing wayyy down. Summer at JCS is intentionally slower and I am not apologizing for it 😌
- Also — our Farmers Market Collection is live and it is SUMMERY and I love it 🌻 So fun and makes a great gift!

Theo of Golden — going slowly and honestly? I’m cherishing every page. Some books aren't meant to be rushed and this is one of them.
