Joyful Journal v.36 - Silobration Recap

We’re here for our last day in Waco with tired feet, full hearts, and a few very empty display bins. This year, Magnolia stretched Silobration to four full days for the first time ever, and we got to spend every one of them meeting you, hugging you, and chatting with so many paper lovers from literally all over the country.

If you stopped by the booth, thank you. If you couldn't make the drive, pull up a chair. Here's everything you missed!

What Flew Off the Table

You told us loud and clear what you're wrapping, writing, and gifting this season.

1. Bag of Tags (in every flavor). Our classic Bag of Tags, the Holiday Bag of Tags, and our Petite Keep collab tags were the undisputed booth MVP. Turns out everyone wants their gifts to look as good on the outside as they feel on the inside.

2. Christmas Tree Mini Notepad. The perfect stocking stuffer, and so many of you bought them in multiples. Teacher gifts, anyone?

3. "Grateful for You "Gold Foil Notecards. Our JCS x TED notecards proved that a handwritten thank-you never goes out of style.

4. Holiday To/From Sticker Sheets. Small but mighty. No more scribbling names on wrapping paper with a dried-out marker.

5. Kids Fill-In Thank You Notes. Both the Rainbow and Pinks sets were a hit with parents raising grateful little humans. (Yes, they make thank-you notes almost fun.)

New Friends We Made Along the Way

One of the best parts of Silobration is the people on either side of our booth. These makers poured their hearts into their craft, and we can't stop thinking about them.

Ramble and Co. · @rambleandcompany Hand-printed tees and small-batch accessories with so much personality. You know I love a striped tee, and their selection is dreamy!

David Brazier Art · @davidbrazierart Bold, beautiful acrylic paintings and prints. Moody and the most amazing colors. His talent is one to watch!

Kid Hooray · @kidhooray Handmade knitted wire signs that are pure whimsy (and would look adorable in any nursery or playroom). They traveled all the way from Pennsylvania! We’re so grateful to have been their booth neighbor.

Rescue River · @rescueriverco Fishing gear handcrafted by survivors of trafficking. A beautiful product with an even more beautiful mission. I got my youngest Charlie some cool merch to support the brand and handmade flys for his fishing adventures.

Leigh Teixeira Art · @leigh.teixeira What a treat to have one of my best friends and such a talented human share her art in our booth. There’s nothing better than getting your gifts and talents out into the world, and I loved seeing how many people adore what she makes. Be sure to check out her website. She has a gift and a talent, and I was so excited to get to help promote her art.

Go give them a follow and some online shopping love. Small businesses lifting each other up is what this is all about.

Until Next Year

Silobration reminded us why we do what we do! Behind every customer that purchased a notepad or gift tag is someone trying to make another person feel seen, and we get to be a tiny part of that. GRATEFUL is just one of the many feelings we feel after this weekend.

The holiday season is just getting started, and our Wrapped in Joy collection is ready when you are!

With so much joy,

Steph & The JCS Team
