February 2024 : Spring is Springing!
Texas is feeling all sorts of spring and summer and WE’RE HERE FOR IT! I got the best advice years ago from a trusted mentor (hey Alli 😍). She said, "Don’t make any big decisions in January and February." It’s a more somber time, some people have the winter blues, and most are coming down from the craziness that the holidays bring. She is so right! Don’t you feel the shift now that March is almost here?! The sun is out (more)☀️, flowers are starting to bloom 🌸 and the fruit is extra sweet 🍓! It’s a wonderful time of the year. With all that in mind, my online shopping carts are full of a few favorites to freshen things up, Spring Style!
LOSE THE SHOES
The first thing to go once the temperatures rise is shoes! (At least the closed toe variety.) I’m a sandal or barefoot girl when I can, and this pair was a favorite last year and an automatic reorder for this year! Added this other pair to cart so fast, too!
BED HEAD = CUTE HATS
I am determined to be more of a hat girl! They protect our skin, and there are SO MANY cute options now! This brand is local to Texas, and their new bucket style is dreamy. They use color in the best way too, which makes me happy! This is a new to me brand/shop, and I love the fun loving styles!
CELEBRATE SPRING THINGS
At Joy Creative Shop, we know April begins the second busiest gift-giving season! Personally, this spring, we have a fun calendar of so many celebrations! I’m determined to get my gifting ready in advance and lessen the stress that May brings.

Our oldest is graduating from 8th grade, and there are so many fun events to attend! I’m going to reinstate this clothing subscription. It has the cutest clothes, and I won’t have to buy so many things to wear just once! It is like renting straight from Anthro!
Adding some cute new shoes and a new bag and some new gloss will be enough to freshen things up without breaking the bank! This bag is my #1!
AIRY & LIGHT
I’m LOVING the crochet/woven look that’s all over the internet! I have this in off-white, and I'm going to add a bright version to my closet for spring! This material is perfect for in-between Texas weather, and even cute as a coverup! Loving this blue hue sweater for spring, too!
I’m excited to add in a couple casual dresses to beat the Texas heat! This is darling in denim, and I can’t resist this cute floral!
DESK REFRESH
Last but not least, I’m always game for freshening up my desk and this is my go-to notepad for a quick refresh. Add in some fun pens and I’m set up for success! They also make amazing gifts, so I keep them on hand for a fun birthday lunch or teacher gift!
